Imagination Now

The Vermont Imagination Conversation—one of three Conversations held around the country this month!—took place on October 14, 2011, at FlynnSpace, part of the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington.

Moderator Jane Lindholm, host of Vermont Edition on Vermont Public Radio, led a panel discussion featuring acclaimed performance artist Laurie Anderson; Tiffany Bluemle, executive director of Vermont Works for Women; Champlain College President Dave Finney; and Ben & Jerry’s CEO Jostein Solheim.

The day after the event, Anderson performed her latest multimedia work, Delusion, on the Flynn’s MainStage.

The lively Conversation stimulated and challenged audience members, and was a great success, said Joan Robinson, associate director for school programs at the Flynn.

LCI thanks Robinson, who helped organize the gathering, and the Flynn for adding Vermont to the growing list of states that have been inspired by Imagination Conversations.
